Well, I have a site which is pretty good but has a shitty server, and hostony looks really good, I am going to start using it, but i want to find out a couple of things:

1. Is it legal, I've heard about some hosts that offer good stuff but isn't legal
2. Can I see a website hosted by hostony?

why are there ads?

Hostony does not require there to be any type of ads on your site.
The ads you see on my pages are of my own choice.

artrocity.com was a hobby site but as of last quarter
those ads paid for my hosting, paid for my xmas gifts
and then some.

Can't quit the day job but every little bit helps...

Thank god for that, I do not wish to have ads on my site at all.
