I was thinking about starting a site with hostony and I will be putting large files such as mp3's (all copyright free) on my site for download. Some of thes files may be a few hundred megabytes. Is there going to be any problem with that?

It is not recommended to downoad such files through http.
You may share them for downloading through ftp without any problem
