When you first register a site, do you just wait for your domain name site to appear on the internet, or do you have to change/set something first before you wait? If so, is there any way you can see the site via internet temporarily before it uses its new domain name?

Once you register the domain name, you then enter your nameserver information, for that domain. 24hrs to 72 hrs after that, your domain will then appear from the domain path - yourdomain.com, providing you have it setup on the server, your files uploaded, and the correct nameservers etc.

If you have personalised nameservers, you'll need to first register them, before you can actually use them.
