My site is www.nhforums.com/www.linearhelix.com. I would like permission to run jIRC (IRC chat applet) on my site. Typically my existing chat room has less than 8 people in it at any time, and chat really only occurs during half the day. Would this be acceptable? (I read in the terms that chat applications must be approved. By the way, the chat features provided by the cPanel aren't exactly what I'm looking for.)

Sorry but IRC chat is prohibited both on our shared and dedicated servers.
It is not a problem how much people in the IRC chat, the problem is it is extremely vulnurable for DDOS attacks and because of the DDOS flood it may affect not just one server but whole network segment.
