I have seen that you are offering Agora's Shopping cart. Isnt that coded in CGI and doesnt that bog down the server.

Why dont you check out http://www.oscommerce.com. (THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT)

I have this installed on my site and its much better than Agora as its coded in PHP.They have a really nice forum and also a great Contributing group.

Agora Shopping Cart is built-in CPanel and we can't replace it. It is expensive work.

I doubt that it can loads the server because:

1. Only a few number of sites use Sopping Card
2. As a rule all of them have chose what sofware will they use early and we can't change their mind.
3. I monitor servers and I haven't seen cgi scripts that load server highly.

So Agora Shopping Cart is not our headache

Alright, but if i join for a hosting plan and i dont want to run Agora Shopping Cart. Would i be able to go with osCommerce SHopping Cart

If osCommerce SHopping Cart doesn't need to format HDD in order to be installed then you can use it

We don't limit customers if they need to install sofware which is don't violates our AUP (http://www.hostony.com/terms.html) so you may install this shopping cart. If you have any troubles with installation we will help you.

Unfortunately we still haven't experience in osCommerce SHopping Cart installation so I don't know what problems can it cause.
