I've noticed over the past few months that at times the server that my sites are hosted on don't respond. These instances have been few and far between, but they're happening often enough that it's noticable. What usually happens is that I try to access the sites once and I won't be able to go thru, and then I hit the refresh button right after and it'll work fine.
Does anyone have any insight as to why this is happening. The site in question runs tikiwiki, but I can't imagine that being the problem. In anycase, everything else has been working good.
Keep up the good work!

Dear kazzy, it can be a problem with tikiwiki as well.We need to investigate this issue, but to do so you are to provide us with ther name of your domain at least for us to check the server and tell you for sure what causes the problem.I advise you to open a trouble ticket regarding this issue.

I detect this happening on some websites too, I think it is due to temporal overloads. Specially on the periods when the server is running backups or cpanel updates

Same problem here. I've got simple html pages (no scripts) that sometimes load halfway and require refresh. ######s when it happens during a post or upload.

From the posts put up by others, this doesn't seem like a localized problem. Maybe this is something that should be looked into not on an individual user level, but rather on a server by server basis?

Yes,the server should be checked. That's for sure. But I can't check it if I don't know the ip of this server. So please provide us with this ip.
Martin is right, on some of the servers we run backups at a particulat time that causers some temporary overloads.

Kazzy,
If it helps, I was able to load your website with no problems and no browser cache 10 times in a row within 3 seconds.

I appreciate your help, but I just noticed it happen again. It was around 1:07PM my time, and I was attempting to log out of tikiwiki. As usual, hitting the refresh button after the failure made it work.
