Hey,

For the past couple of days I've been having some problems using the SMTP server to send out mail. However recving mail seems to be working fine. Is anyone else having this problem? If not, can I please get this fixed ASAP?

Can't seem to connect to any mail related services now (pop3/smtp/imap). I have to use the mail webapps provided in cpanel to access my mail. Can someone please fix this????

It seems that shaw has decided to block outgoing smtp connections to anything other than shaw's mail servers without warning anyone.

Is there any way to get some hostony smtp proxy set up so we can acces mail on a port other than 25?

There is, but I can't remember what the alternative port is.

Try using 26 instead of 25. Maybe this is a cPanel server and they are running a clone on 26.
