How can I reset the stats for email in WHM? Or do I need to use a command in SSH? If so, what is the command? My email stats have been accumulating since I startted a new VPS in February. Each month, I would like to archive them, clear them out, and start fresh.
Thanks.
Dima
You can do it using the command /scripts/runweblogs username

Not so fast on "Now that's service"!
I tried to run that command from SSH and here's what I got:
root@node1 [/scripts]# runweblogs <my username>
-bash: runweblogs: command not found

Yet, if I run a DIR in that directory, I can see that 'runweblogs' is there.

What am I missing?

I found a partial answer at webhostingtalk.com
Someone there wrote:

"ok my mistake was entering the directory. If I type /scripts/runweblogs from the command prompt it worked. Thanks guys.
If you are already in the /scripts directory try typing:
./runweblogs"

Now, when I follow these instructions, I get a response from SSH, but I still get all the stats going back to early Feb. I want to CLEAR all the stats and start fresh.

What username should I use? My root? My VPS admin?

How?
Thanks.

Hi,

To clear the stats monthly you will need to set up a cron job that will empty the tables sends and smtp on the eximstats db. That or you can go in via the WHM phpmyadmin and do it manually each month.

Thanks MartinB, but I cannot find myphpadmin in WHM anywhere.

is "phpMyAdmin", and you can found it under the "SQL Services" section of your WHM (remember to login as root) smile.gif

Thank you, Martin
I found phpMyAdmin right where you said.

In the left column, I chose database "eximstats".
In the right pane I put checkboxes in 'sends' and 'smtp'
Below that, I used the drop down to select [Empty]
I am prompted with 'Do you really want to TRUNCATE sends and smtp. I click [Yes]
Result: Your SQL query has been executed successfully.

Now, when I go back to the Main menu of WHM, select "Email", select "View Mail Statistics", I get:

Exim statistics from 2007-02-12 22:14:10 to 2007-04-28 04:17:04

But I don't WANT statistics since 12-Feb. I want to CLEAR the statistics and start FRESH.
How can I do that?
Thanks for your help.
