What is the motive behind constantly changing the server time? I have had the server time move several hours about 3 times in the last few months; it certainly cannot be daylights saving time (which only occurs twice a year..).

Fortunately, I have all my scripts synchronized to my own clock in a PHP file, so I can change the timezone on all of them at once. But it's still quite a hassle and the records of older dates/times get thrown off really badly.

The server time should just stay put.. not even change for daylights saving. Otherwise, for example a forum, we might look back and see a post dated 4 am, when it was back during the time the server was many hours slower, making it actually around 12 pm.

Very weird issue dude, I have never experienced something like that on the +5 hostony servers where I have accounts for the last 3 years sad.gif

Did you asked to the support team ? If yes, what was their explanation ?

Ah... they changed it back again. dry.gif Imagine if I still went through and editted my gallery, Wordpress, forums, file scripts, etc by hand. laugh.gif
