in lieu of the fact that there are no messages here... I just thought I'd help out and say that I in fact do like sql. Yes, I admit it... I'm a fan of SQL.. not sure what kind of repurcussions this admittance will result in.. but I'm ready to face the consequences

i also like SQl, i have presently done Oracle's PL/SQL and now im studyin MySQL along with PHP.

There are limitations with mySQL. But it should not matter for most users.
Oracle allows server side scripts, which can make things easier.
mySQL does not allow the subJOINs that would make it easier.
But this service with unlimited hosts, mySQL, and PHP is a magic combination.
I use lynx, and procmail() to enhance my services.
That way I can automatically verify email and urls, and update my databases.

Welcome to the Board
MySQL is getting better day by day with all the contributions the programmers are putting into it.Moreover, its free for the end user whereas Oracle costs a whole lot for the end user.
