Hello to all! Today, I am having some major problems with my site.

(1) When I try to access my site using FrontPage, I get the following error:
"The Web server at "http://www.tigersan.com" does not appear to have Windows SharePoint Services installed."

(2) I cannot access subdomains:
"http://nihongo.tigersan.com/" gives a 403 Forbidden error.

(3) Certain folders on my site are not allowing me to link to the images...
"http://www.tigersan.com/other/smile/go.gif" will not show on my home page. This is also why I don't currently have an avatar in Hostony... or in any other forum I have an account with on the Internet. I changed permissions with cPanel X, to no avail.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I am having the same problem. My domain has been unaccessable all day. I have contacted tech support every day for the last couple of days via chat. They fix it, then a few hours later it isn't accessable again.

www.webshane.com
www.technicalobscurity.com
www.spindlitis.com

All with the same problem.

I am still getting the following error when trying to connect using FrontPage:

"The Web server at "http://www.tigersan.com" does not appear to have Windows SharePoint Services installed."

There is a file that I must upload for a group project, so I will try to use another means to connect to my website for now... but I will need to access the site using FrontPage ASAP.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the FrontPage extension in cPanel... to no avail.

Still getting the same error, but...

I was able to upload the files I needed to. For the rest of the work I need to accomplish, I will manually load the files to the webserver... so I should be ok without FrontPage for a while... no more ASAP needed wink.gif

Just check into it when you can wink.gif

Thanks!

Ok, this is more serious than I thought.

Not only is the FrontPage thing still an issue, but my sub sites aren't accessible. I tried changing the "permissions" to no avail (both to the directory and to the files),

http://www.tigersan.com/hosted/nihongo/

AKA

http://nihongo.tigersan.com/

Not working...

Help!

I discovered my problem...

I was trying to access cPanel with my old Shared IP address... I received an email stating that there was some rearranging going on with the servers. Anyways, I was able to access my site with FrontPage after going into the correct cPanel (using the new IP address) and reinstalling the FrontPage extensions.

just in case anyone else is having the same issues wink.gif
