I'm currently considering hostony for my future hosting solution.

I am interested to know if I will be able to change SRV records with the DNS management interface. If not, would this be possible per request, such as with the SSH support?

I plan to externalize some services onto other servers and I would find this useful.

you can ask for private NS records anytime, no problem. Otherwise your account will be assigned to custom shared nameservers.
