I?ve seen in Cpanel, that there is a nice Backup Tool. Now I would like to ask, if it is no problem to use it (not to overload the server or something). If I want to make a file backup, there is only the option to make a full /home directory backup. my directory is approx. 330 Megabytes. So i guess an zip would take some time.

=> is this a good solution for me to backup files? (seems quite handy so, except that no explicit folder option is there)

=> is it "easily" possible to Restore a Home Directory Backup if something happens? wouldn?t it be difficult to handle such huge files?

you can make backups of your account using that tool. It is advisable that you do it sometimes, just to be sure you can be ready for unexpected disk failures and so on. You can stoore the backups locally on your PC.
