i cant use php/mysql cause it times out is too slow

Yeah... I noticed it early this morning and I put in a ticket. It's been up and down all day. Sometimes it works just fine but only for a brief moment or two, then it's back down again. And of course, right now, it's down.

The server status thing says that httpd has failed. I don't even know what that is, but I'm sure it's important.

Anyway, I hope it's back up soon. I have a bunch of work to do on there today.

Well, hmm.... See, now the html pages are loading, but the MySQL pages aren't. My rotating image isn't working and my Nucleus weblog is timing out.

Wait!!! It just loaded my Nucleus weblog after waiting a long time. And now my rotating image is working. See? This is what's been happening all day. It's working okay right now. Ten minutes from now I wonder if it'll time out again?

Right now it's still working....

it is working right now, the problem is that i have a forum and the users cant go to live support with hostony anytime they wanna read/post something... i just hope it lasts at least longer than yesterdays fix

I know how you feel.... I use a program called Thingamablog to build all my pages and it can't upload when the server keeps timing out.

Just now I tested again and my Nucleus weblog loaded but very very slowly.

No, wait... I take that back. I just got another "timed out" message. It has to be that httpd thing...

right now im really feeling what others have experienced with hostony, now i know why so many people complain about servers and support reps...

Oh, I don't. Sometimes there's just so much stuff going on all at once. I don't know how many folks are on this same server, but I'll bet they're dealing with a ton of support tickets and such. Sometimes I think they're having trouble pinpointing the problem.

I've had a support ticket open for much of the day. Several of the support staff have responded. Hopefully it'll get cleared up soon.
