We host 123shots-dot-com with you. We are not able to copy image files to a subdir under our home dir.

The open_basedir setting in php.ini file seems to have the following value

open_basedir /home2/snaps/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp no value

It allows /home2/snaps. But our home dir is /home/snaps.

This has changed overnight...

Can someone from Hostony fix this quickly !! Its been 10 - 12 hrs now.

WITHOUT THIS OUR SITE CANNOT WORK.

HELP PLEASE !!

If your server is configured as PHPSUEXEC (as all, i think), You can create your own php.ini file.

Also, if you have urgency, post a trouble ticket at support.hostony.com/user.php, it's so more fast this way smile.gif

Thanks for the response.

1. How do I know if my server allows me to create php.ini ?

2. If it does allow, where do I get the base php.ini from ?

3. Which directory do I create it in ?

I created a trouble ticket in the morning. But there has been no fix yet.

PLEASE HELP ASAP.

Thanks
Manoj

Is there anyone in Hostony Support who can answer this ??

This is ridiculous. You guys change some settings overnight, dont know what you are changing and now to fix it I cannot get a guy to talk to who knows what you guys have changed and how to fix it.

HELLOOOOOO ???
MartinB
try changing the php_value with a .htaccess apache file.

create a text file and name it ".htaccess", with this sentence:

CODE
php_value open_basedir /home/snaps

If your server have phpsuexec, you will get a "500" error. If not (your apache configuration allow overiding), this must work.

let me know.
