I have been using SpamAsassin (from cPanel) for all of my domains for several months and find it has been very effective in trapping spam.
Today, I tried to add an antry of "score USER_IN_WHITELIST -100" as shown in the example at spamassassin.org, but the negative number seems to get rejected. The "USER_IN_WHITELIST" is there, but the score field is empty.
Why?

I did a bit more testing:
When I use File Manager in cPanel to change the value from -100 to +100, it shows up in Spam Assassin.
When I use File Manager in cPanel to change another SpamAssassin parameter from +4.0 to -4.0, the value DISAPPEARS from the SpamAssassin display.
Does SpamAssassin in cPanel have a bug that prevents it from DISPLAYING negative numbers or is it actually THROWING AWAY the negative numbers and applying a value of ZERO for that parameter? I hope not!
I will not know for a few days if my -100 for whitelist works or not.
