If somebody knows a web foprum system like this but gpl / free to recommend me, i will be very hapy.

I work for some years with phpbb, but now I'm thinking in a big personal online project, and... i'm worried about security issues (you know....phpbb and security... i can't sleep)

PhpBB is as close to free as you can get.

Too many companies are money hungry for things -. -.
By the way, a lot of scripts I have seen in demo's on sites, do not work very good.
Mostly from hotscripts though.

But invisionboard is not free anymore, nor is vbulletin.
