How fast will internet search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.) pick up new websites? Is there a known way of seeding these search engines with the knowledge that your website exists?
Thanks

The fastest one is yahoo it wont take more than a week to show your website in its resault, msn takes a bit longer and google its a whole different thing, i have some 2 month old websites that google has indexed but doesnt show them in its results yet. You can use the "add url" feature of yahoo, msn, google, etc to let them know that your website exists but its not really necesary.

You could help google a bit by submitting a google sitemap.
