I want to show different content depending on what country the user is browsing from.
is there anything installed that would allow me to do this? I was pointed to this site which contains free software in case nothing is currently available

I'm not sure if this could help you but the systeme bbclone (Stats system) show where your visitor come from. No software, no database.

Like this Stats bbclone.

but... Awstats and others stats systems in CPanel also detect the country of your visitors.
