Full Version: Uploading files and SMTP from PHP

I currently have a hosting account with another company that is driving me up the wall. THey have an open_basedir restriction on their PHP setup that prevents me from being able to upload files using a PHP script. Also, it appears that they have recently implemented SMTP authorization and my PHP script can no longer send e-mails because they don't allow customized configurations for individual accounts. I need to know if your services would allow my script to upload files and to send e-mails. In case it makes any difference, the script I'm using is Cerberus Helpdesk (www.cerberusweb.com). Thanks.

We don't have php in safe mode. But even in safe mode php can be configured to allow file uploading to certain folders.
Our SMTP requires authorization only from off the network hosts. You can send from local host without any authorization.
