Hi some of my php sites acted funny recently. Im not the programmer, so i looked into it and found that hostony has made some changes which might be the reason permissions have changed, scripts havent worked etc... in reading it looks at though there has been some kind of upgrade to the servers and that some new php files (ini?) (and .htaccess?) have to be placed in any directory with php code. Is this right or am i just way out?
If this is the case please can someone tell me what is required to be in each directory with php code? Im trying to learn php and my calls to the database are returning nothing... this is either me getting things wrong, or me not knowing what is required to make these scripts work...
please help!
