I have had access to only one computer, but I'm going to upgrade an old one so it's acceptable for use, and was thinking about setting up an own web server. So, my question: is it possible to transfer the domain so that I can redirect it to my IP? I've paid for a year of hosting, which runs out in December, I think.
The purpose is not reselling, so a reselling account is out of question. (In other words: I'm happy with Hostony, but I want full control over what's installed on my server).
