And that proves what? That I had files and folders on my account. It was my understanding that having files and folders on a hosting account is ALLOWED!

This is you displaying the contents of the file optin1.txt. The file that the double opt-in script wrote the emails to that ppl entered when they signed up for the newsletter.
I am sure all those people will be happy that you decided to post thier email addresses on a public forum! (I changed the usernames on the email adresses to "username" because I think that posting someone elses email address on a public forum is an incompetent and stupid thing to do. Especially by someone that works for a hosting company!)
The optin1.txt is structured like this:

The only thing that might "look" suspicious to someone is the file named "sendemail.html". In this file is the text to send when someone signs up. It contains the verify link.
This the text that is in it:
Hello %email%, Your email was submitted to us to be added to our newsletter/mailing list. Please confirm your address by clicking on the link below. %confirmlink% If you did not subcribe then you do not need to do anything. No further emails will be sent concerning this matter.
You have the file on the server that I cannot touch. You know for a fact that is what it is.
I thought you had "server logs and spam messages."?
Well, I guess you were half right. You have server logs, of sorts. Logs of my files and folders!
I needed to show how incompetent you are. You helped alot with that
You need to learn what to look for before you start accusing more people of unsolicited email spamming.
Just admit that you made a mistake and refund my money.
