What about "Ruby on Rails" in hostony linux servers ?

I've heard of Ruby, it is awesome and much faster and "economical" than other languages, I think it should be an standard for all Hostony servers.

hostony support has indicated the ruby on rails will only be installed for those customers on the virtual dedicated server (sometimes written VPS) or dedicated server customers.

hostony, time to get on board, other web hosts are meeting this request for service. see dreamhost.com

Martin, we have discussed this idea with our top manager yesterday. The answer is still the same "Only on a VPS", but in the nearest future it will be available for shared hosting too, as we want to be up-to-date too.

that is good to hear. now the question is what is the "nearest future?" one week, one month, one year, 5 years? hmmmm...
