I am trying to update my sit, but i am getting an error when pushing files on the server, whether thru dreamweaver or through web folders.

I thought this was b/c i was working in a secure area of my site, however, that is not the case. I can't create any new files. I could create a folder thru HELM, however, could not upload any files.

When using DW I get this error:
"FTP error occurred - could not gputet <file name>. Access denied. The file may not exist or there could be a permissions problem."

When using web folders I get this error:
"An error occured copying a file to the FTP server. Make sure you have permissions to put files on the server

Details:
200 Type Set to I
227 entering passive mode (<some numbers here>)
550 <name of file>. Access Denied"

Please help.
