please help me! i'm a newie. i can't get my php to run whenever i try to load any php files a window opens then ask if i want to open or save it. i thought it automatically parses any php files. what have i done wrong? or what have i not done yet?

it's just a simple hello world code here it is <html> <head> <title>PHP Test</title> </head> <body> <?php echo '<p>Hello World</p>'; ?> </body> </html> what's going on? please help me! thanks

It's working now, the problem was initiated by incorrect http headers in .htaccess file.
