hi i've just sign up with hostony and everything i great so far except the mysql
everytime I create a database to be use with a scripts, the scripts can't connect to with or tells me it can find the database. is there a reason for that

for instance my mailing list scripts can't connect to the database.
any help would be greatly appreciated
