Can someone confirm this is spam or true?

I think it's spam. I turned off comments on my weblog and I've been monitoring my guestbook too because all of the sudden these casino ads are popping up as if they are people commenting. I've seen them at other messageboards and guestbooks too. So far I haven't gotten any email like this though. A new spam method perhaps?

Considering that the person didn't mention any specific instructions on it, has "1" post and doesn't help any further nor respond to this more, it seems this is a hoax or spam.

And I too noticed it about half a year ago on my guestbook when there was this user named "online casino" all the time, something similar to that name actually.

I just wonder what possible advantage these people get from putting stuff like this up everywhere. I mean, no one is going to click on any links and when they post no links at all what point is there? Weird. Seems like a waste of time to me.
