Im a new Hostony customer, and I was wondering where to find the WEB BASED FILE MANAGER that appears in the ADDITIONAL FEATURES section (description page for hosting plans at Hostony).

I want to upload files in a different way than FTP or FPage (through extensions), and Ive read this that there is a web based file manager, but I can't find it...

If you have a Linux based account, enter to your control panel (http://yourdomain.com:2082) and click the FileManager icon.

No man, I have a windows based one. (WinProfi Package).
I've read that I can enter via http://myIP:2082 or 2083, or http://myip/cpanel but doesn?t work so far...

Note: I never logged in before... do i need to activate something to see this panel???

Windows accounts don't have CPanel.
You have another control Panel system (HELM), but i don't know it sorry

dear.... GO to http://help.hostony.com/, there click in "Working with HELM", then click in "Using File Manager"

there is a full flash animation.

Maybe you don't know how to access your HELM Control Panel.
