server23.fastbighost.com is down for IMAP, POP3 and SMTP services. But funniest of all is that cPanel X reports all services as "up":

exim (exim-4.34-60_cpanel_stmpcontrol_antivirus_rewrite_mailman2_mailtrap_exiscan) up
eximstats up
ftpd up
imap up


All these emails issues are really really bad. Worst of Hostony and what may probably make me move away.

Server 23 is stable now.

I'm sorry but that's NOT correct.

It is still NOT accepting IMAP, POP3 or SMTP connections.

In fact, I just got an email from Alec (administrator) on the subject.

don't forget to check if your local ISP are blocking ports.
ISPs are blocking SMTP port commonly, but you can answer about the other ports
Have you tried to telnet the ports ?

SMTP: telnet yourdomain.com 25
POP: telnet yourdomain.com 110

OK, just to things. Not willing to offend or flame here, but:

RHCE (2 of them, from 5 to RHEL 3)
MCSE (3 of them, from NT4 to 2003)
CCNA, CCNP
Some other certs.
Let me put it this way: I've been in this for a long time so please, there's no need to ask me beginner questions, bitte.

3. You catch me flying from Asia to Europe (nice 15 hours flight). Reason for me to answer sooo late.


The Secured IMAP wasn't working (confirmed by Alex). Now it does (but this is almost 48 hours later).


Hopefully we'll get some stability from now on.
