In CPanel under chatrooms, there is an option for a JAVA chatroom. It tells me to use this link http://thezone.ws/cgi-sys/mchat.cgi?channel=thezone.ws to use the chat room, but I get a "Connection to Melange Chat Server at 67.15.24.22 failed!" error.


If this chat room won't work, can you recommend a program that will work on your servers. I dislike PHPMyChat and other PHP chat rooms.

Melange Chat Server uses IRQ protocol and it is prohibited to use on our server.

But IRC is not prohibited in "Virtual Server" Solution and Dedicated, right?

OK, I can understand that, but why is it offered by CPanel on our accounts?
And can you reccomend a good chat program that is acceptable on your servers?

IRC is prohibited in "Virtual Server" Solution and Dedicated too. It is policy of datacenter and ip suppliers.

phpMyChat is included in Cpanel interface but I couldn't say that it is cool, but it is only solution now
