Full Version: phpNuke errors out the wazoo

I just got phpNuke uploaded on my windows server and got the database/tables set up. I set up the config.php file and all that no problem.

However, when I go to a page I get tons of "Undefined variable: [variable name]" or "Use of undefined constant [constant name] - assumed [constant name]" errors.

I was wondering if anyone else has run into these and found a resolution. I'd really like to know if this is a problem with phpNuke (I forgot something maybe - although the setup process seemed straightforward to me), or if it has something to do with the server.

My guess is the latter...a php installation setting perhaps that is especially picky with errors.

Thanks.

What is the URL to your phpnuke?

As I can see you have configured your phpnuke incorrectly.
Please visit phpnuke official site to found what can you do.
But I think the best way is to install new phpnuke (but the same version that you have) and then upload your existing database to the new one that will be created for this installation of phpnuke.
