current Forum page error


Something new this time is in the address area instead of giving me the domain url that i put in it replaces it with http://67.15.111.2/~mystic/ for the main page and http://67.15.111.2/~mystic/khanforum/ for the forums did something change with the ip address?

Please tell me exactly URL where did you see that error.

when i type in the forum url it now changes to this http://www.a1satellites.com/~mystic/khanforum/

Ok, I've fixed both.
Also please set up MySQL users correctly next time.
I mean that MySQL username for example must be as yourusername_user, but not just user.
E.g: mystic_mystic, but not just mystic.

i just created the users via Cpanel i thought it added the mystic_ to it automaticly. interesting.

Is there documentation on that some place?


Also what exactly did you change to fix this? i cant seem to log in to my b2evo section (main page)
and for some reason instead of showing my domain name it shows the ip address and the a1satellites from before .. can we fix this so its normal again..

my subdomain seems screwd up too. its alannia.mysticalkoala.com and it should go to the /alannia directory but instead typing in http://alannia.mysticalkoala.com/ sends you to some where equally screwed up.

typing in www.mysticalkoala.com/alannia sends you to http://67.15.111.2/~mystic/alannia/ which isn't currently whats in that folder at all

soemthing is still wrong with something here, i cant get anything past the first page on my site every time i click on something (previous month, or the link to any post for more info etc) it just reloads the main page with the link address

also none of the users can log in now, nor can i as admin.


Can you reverse what ever was done earlier? I'd rather have the database go down for a few hours a day than have the whole site screwed up and unusable.

apparently it was the new dns thing, when i got home i found an email waiting about changing dns servers, so everything works fine there now.

the only thing is my cpanel doesnt show my subdomain on my list so i have no way to redirect it to the /alannia directory of mysticalkoala.com.

Try to re-create it in your control panel

ok subdomain recreated, and working as intended

however, the folder www.mysticalkoala.com/alannia is now missing everything we did today and has only the file in it from before the work we did today.

please tell me it was just lost and can be replaced.

Apparently you uploaded new files on the old server. Did you get email about the server exchange?

yes i got it today when i got home from work about 5-8 hours after we were trying to update some things. Everything's peachy now, and i'm pretty sure that was the only directory we changed/saved anything to today.

ok one more thing while i'm still here

were there also some changes to cpanel? there doesnt seem to have fantastico on there nor in the web/ftp stats the only option is webalizer. it seems that there's some other things missing, but its just a general icon count i coudnt say what exactly till i need it.


and do i need to do anythign special in order for the subdomain to show up under the web/ftp stats->subdomains ?
