What happened to my files ?

I see in cpanel that my website occupies 1 GB space, before it was 3 GB, when i checked with FTP to see what happened to my files, i see a one big 1 GB .tar file - Why ?

My site is still working though but sometimes i need to edit single html files so it's better that you don't compile or pack my site. I don't read the forum everyday. Is it possible for you to Send me/us an email next time if there is going to be any downtime/changes/server move etc. where my site is concerned ? This will be very helpful if you can manage this in future and "very" highly appreciated.

Pls get me site html/htm files back as it was before. Thanks.

what FTP server do you use?

Nice, it's all working fine! So, the older IP is a backup now I suppose ? (Good!)

Your new IP with cpanel ain't got https yet right ? Anyway that's not such a big issue for me, just saying.
