I am a reseller and most of my sites are fine, but the two sites that utilize dedicated IP addys are displaying the "no website configured" cpanel screen
One site is ssl the other needed an IP for anonymous ftp purposes. the strange thing is I can still access cpanel for them both. And file manager shows "thank god" that all the files are still there.

Could you look into his please?

yes I can ping them, as I said before I can even access cpanel and the files are all there but this is what is at the end of the ping. from California, new york, and I bet from even where you are if you would bother to go to th url

the guy who owns the store lives in Orchard Park NY and gets what I get.
I wish I knew what the problem was.

That is the IP assigned to it when I had them set up ssl cert. As It should be.
but for some reason here and in Orchard park it resolves to same ip as server 11. (that is why cpanel and webmail still work I bet) I wonder why it only uses dedicated IP in some areas, very strange. It worked with that dedicated ip for several months till just recently. Do you think it will help if I stop using my branded nameservers they have caused many problems in the past with not updating.

I'm in DC also using verizon dsl and I'm getting the same "there is no website configured at..." from quakerstore.com, the other one is fine.

thanks carahost! it seems that some isp's aren't getting the proper info. I am using adelphia cable (as is the stores owner). Anyone have any Ideas or solutions to this odd little problem?

its a dns issue for sure.

I had a similiar problem involving server10 coincidently this week.

Wed night i came from work and my site looked like it did a year ago!
It seems ns10 was reporting that i was on server 10 when
i havent been on server 10 for a YEAR !!
I had some issues on that machine so they moved me to another server.

alec updated the NS and 24-72hrs later everything was back to normal.

unfortunately there isnt much you can do but what for the changes to propogate.

Thanks Atrocity, I am good at waiting. I have at least until monday before I have to worry about it.
I just hope they remember to update whatever they have to update.
In any event, just getting replies from a few different locations and a few different isp's helped me a great deal to begin to understand the problem.

Quakersrtore.com only works now with the www. prefix; maybe just needs time
And boccio.us does not work still; when i go to www.boccio.us it takes me to quakerstore. I will clear my cache yet again and see what happens.
They must be getting closer at least. cleared my cache and quakerstore.com works
the funny part is boccio.us now opens quakerstore.com

the IP assigned it (for quite some time now)
is 207.44.245.189 and the site can be reached using http://207.44.245.189 as it should be, only one number off but that's enough to screw it up.

dnsstuf.com and my local computer ping to 207.44.245.175 which means that if you try to go to boccio.us you end up at quakerstore.com (quakerstore.com's ip=207.44.245.175) I am confused why do different pings go to different ip's and none of them take you where they should?
do I need to do something that you guys can't?

boccio.us is just a personal site used mostly for posting baby pictures (my nephew owns the site) but it is still important to him
and everybody now is being directed to quakerstore or a blank page

they did do a good job fixing the store tho, I guess thats something

If no one responds to this or answers me from helpdesk (ignored there too) by tommorow I will try to use redirect in cpanel to a sub-domain or something until I can find a way to affect the dns myself. At least the e-commerce site was fixed before I lost support.
