Hello ppl, somebody here knows how much is the maximum/common connection speed i can transfer to/from a hostony's server ?

When I transfer data its pretty slow. I use Flash FXP, is there something in this that slows down the process as it can be tedious at times.

You're the only customer who has slow connection.
May be you should try to use another local ISP?

Its inly when I transfer files through FTP that its slow, no idea why but its fast any other time.

im on a 6mb cable connection and i spike from 2mb-1mb but when i download it levels out at about 700-800k a second, and im able to get more then 1mb a second steady.

damn!! im in a 256k adsl connection and i will be the more happy man in the world if i can go to 512k connection the next month!!!!
