I’m just wondering whether it’s possible to create a virtual directory. If so, how then? I’m a new customer owning a special windows based hosting plan.

Just create a new folder in your wwroot
Then you will be able to access it through http://youdomainname.com/foldername/

Sure it could be a solution but sometimes it's just nicer to have one, so instead of using a long url like http://yousite.com/something/something/test/ you could just use http://yoursite.com/test/

It is possible to do it from IIS Administrator but you do not have access, so we can do it ourselves.

Please open a trouble ticket, notify your domain name, folder path and virtual directory name
