We're starting to upgrade our soft: kernel, apache, php, glibc.
Plans:
Today - servers 23, 20
Tomorrow - servers 22,24,21

Can you give us more information? Like - what services (not just servers) will be affected? Estitated amount of downtime? Start time? End time? We all know what the track record is like when it comes to these things.....

Kernel upgrade become with the whole server downtime.
There will be a lot of little downtimes during 15-30 minutes during the day.

I noticed really no downtown.

I would hope that they are waiting with PHP 5 till its been used a little and any last min bugs have been worked out... I personally would rather wait for 5.0.1 or some such then jumping into a new version and haveing thinsg go haywire on my sites....

i agree stick with 4.3.8 or atleast wait till 5.0.1 and then upgrade
