i use another service like this, SiteUPTIME
it checks your http,ftp,smtp and pop every 30 min, and give you an url if you want make public this info from your website.

It's Free.

Of course, will be more cool if hostony will give us this info some day, now i have no way for check the uptime in our servers (and no way for check if the 99% guarantee promised is ok ).

nice link, mblend. The service at websitepulse looks a little more thorough, if u wanna pay. You can have your sites checked as often as every 3 mins. 3 min interval costs $14/mo., 5 mins. is $7/mo., 10 mins. is $4/mo., etc.,.

but the free service is the best i find of free services like that.
