Hi,

I checked out the Windows Hosting plans
@ http://www.hostony.com/winhosting.html

Regarding the "Special" Plan ,
I would like to know if the server supports Media (Audio & Video ) Streaming
over HTTP.

HTTP Streaming is also referred to as Progressive Download.

Pls let me know soon.

Thanks
Cincipal
Alexandre

cincipal, unless I'm remembering incorrectly, you can have video on a hostony site which, in effect, is "streaming". When Alexandre says they don't support "Media Streaming" he's probably referring to server products from RealNetworks, Apple, Microsoft, etc., that are used by high load websites which must distribute their video delivery over multiple servers. If you just want to offer some mpegs or rm files or avi's, all you have to do is put them in a directory under your web root and reference them correctly in your HTML. The Hostony servers have the necessary MIME types for these files and by default they will "stream" to the user.
