I was wondering if this is possible?
I would like to be able to synchronize the data from a remote MySQL database (on hostony servers) with a local copy of the database on our local servers, and vice versa. (without using the backup tool of phpmyadmin)
What I would like to do is just copying the location of my mysql data files, to my local server.
Also, am I able to remotely manage the mysql server without phpmyadmin, ie another program (such as MySQL CC) by connecting to the remote server from the program itself? If so, how do I access my remote database server's address.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

it is possible to remotely manage your mysql data but you have to put in a Trouble ticket with the following information
MySQL Username:
MySQL Password:
MySQL Database:
and your current IP
if you have a dynamic ip ie Dialup they may have to do a range of ip's
hope that helps

You can't access mysql data files.
You can access mysql remotely.
Port is 3306
Host: your domain or server's IP
username/password: created user's info for database(from Cpanel - MySQL)
You'll also need to add your computer IP to allowed hosts there(Cpanel - MySQL) and to open a ticket requesting to open port 3306 for your local IP on our firewall.
