I just upgraded from a Profi account to a VPS account. I set up my private nameservers in WHM. Now my domain name registrar won't let me enter my nameservers. It says they are unavailable. Any thought?

I've already opened a ticket about this (not that it's done me any good now, almost three hours later). I'm just wondering if anybody else has some tips.

First, you should register those name servers with their IPs respectively using your registrar's(godaddy) site or support.
