I am attempting to create error documents with php so I can get reports of what files are missing/erroring. I have created my php script and it works fine. The problem is when I modify my .htaccess file to change (404) for example to the new php file, it simply redirect to that file when I enter a bad url. I do not want it to redirect, simply display the page, as if you were using the normal, default page.

I need to either:
1) be able to use the .htaccess to display the page without redirecting the page (I need the url of the bad page - redirection messes this up)
--or--
2) be able to use php on a .shtml document. Currently when I enter php into the 404.shtml document, it prints out the code, it does not process it.

Thanks!
Alec
Please open a ticket and notify file names need to be set up as error pages.
We'll try to do it manually
