I would like to try out the scoop engine. (scoop can be found here: http://scoop.kuro5hin.org/ )
Far as i can tell this is written in perl?
There is an install file called install.pl they want me to run. Instructions are here:

i have a shared hosting account. i know nothing of running a perl file, but i think i read i need ssh access?
How do i run this install.pl file from web based? if i need ssh, can hostony setup ssh for prosers.com (which is running from radialmonster.com)? how would i start the install.pl once i did have ssh??
