This is really frustrating. We have used the FTP control panel to create a few users to access some data from our site. They will not use anything except IE to access FTP sites :-(

so, using ftp://username@domain.com:password@domain.com does not work as i.e. interprets the two @'s wrong.

I sent him ftp://usernam%40domain.com:password@domain.com which does work, but IE changes the address to the first one, so if you bookmark it, it does not work without having to manually change the @ to a %40!!!

Is there anyway of creating users without the @domain.com bit?

And before you say it, they refuse to use a FTP program - this is quite important stuff and we are late in delivering it due to connection problems with our local FTP site - hope you can help.
Stanly
1. FTP accounts will not work at IE, 'cause IE doesn't support passive mode.
2. You're not able to create FTP accounts without @domain.com addition.
