Hi. I recently installed IIS on my comp and installed PHP after that. I went to Internet Information Services and opened the Properties of the Default Website. Under the Home Directory tab, I changed the Execute Permissions to Scripts and Executables. After which I was able to open .php files such as one with the following script:

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

However today I tried opening .php files from my browser and instead of displaying the results of the script, it opens the .php as a text file in notepad. Can anybody tell me what's wrong?? What must I do so that the browser won't open my .php files in notepad? Thanks. sad.gif

They always open in notepad as if you are going to edit them - if you are trying to view them as webpages I'm not sure how thats done as PHP links together from many different pages.

recheck your IIS execution permissions...
If everything is fine then try checking the attributes of the php files you are trying to view with your web browser.

Is about as much as I can help...

also, have you installed the cgi version of apache?
