OK... A friend I do some work for, bought a reseller hosting package from you folks.

I am being hosted by you guys on a linux box. I am used to using cpannel so this is all new to me.

I have managed to sucessfully log into WHM and create a pacakage, a user and associate that package to that user. I have not been able to assoicate a domain with that user yet ( I am assuming that is because the ns entries were just changed).

My 2 questions are :

1. When I am able to sucessfully associate the domain name with the user, the folders and everything for that users account will be set up? Is this a true statement.

2. I have used the user id and password of my user to log into whm and see that they have the same options as I do. Will there be more ability to control things once the account has been created (folders, diskspace, etc) in WHM, or is there another app like cpanel for each user to use.

Thanks in advance

Yes, you're right.

Sure, Cpanel is installed for all accounts created at WHM.
WHM is located at port 2086(insecure connection)/2087(secure connection) and CPanel is located at port 2082(insecure connection)/2083(secure connection)

Is this for both windows and linux or just linux....

in the welcome e-mail we recieved it said web based control panel was port 8086
and the whm was at 8086 as well...

and just again to verify that cpanel will be installed on windows hosting accounts.

Thanks

Reseller panel and control panel are both located at 8086 port at Windows based server.
Don't worry, everything is ok smile.gif
