I have a question. Generally, can form processing cause alot of cpu use? I just ask because someone told me they were going to spam my form as a joke and I was wondering if it would ever reach 8% or higher (I want to make sure that it will NOT get that high).

It would more over do with the script that handles the form submission rather then the form itself... One way to offset being attacked in this manner is to use an "image code" that the user must type in what they see in the image... This will stop most bots from flodding the form submission...
