I know that WebCalendar is not listed as supported by hostony in Fantastico, but I thought perhaps someone would have overcome the same problem I'm having. I tried using Fantastico to do the installation, and get a message after installing that I have given an invalid login. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, using different login names and passwords. Unfortunately, I still can't get the program to work. Any ideas?

Try this if you can.

in the subfolder called includes there is a file called user.php
edit line 34 so it looks like this

"cal_login = '" . $login . "' AND cal_passwd = '" . $password . "'";

the password is stored in plain text in the database
but when its checking it out it was using a checksum of the password.

This fixes that issue...
but you get whats you pay fer !
