Hi, one of my sites that has it's own ip and and ssl cert. (I have not made any recent changes) no longer responds to http only https. This is puzzling as it used to (only yesterday I believe). It is also stopping everybody from going there as they would never think it was an https only site, it was never intended to be
(only checkout and account pages are set-up to use https.)
can you fix this? as I said it functioned perfectly both https and http until today and I haven't changed a thing in over a week.

see for yourself

Thanks!
90% of what I have done I owe thanks to the rather large oscommerce commmunity. Open source really works because of folks like them.
PS They always fix everything here, sooner or later.

Check it now please.

Vanya -

Where do I go for this SSL? Will I submit a trouble ticket? Although its not a problem or is there somewhere I have to request this?

Thanks Vanya!

As for certificate it depends if you want self signed or not; they will do self signed for you for free here I think. If you are setting up a store I don't recommend it as lot's of strangers won't trust the stupid warnings that ie explorer will pop up.
To buy a certificate you first need to submit a ticket to support so they can generate the server specific request the issuer will need to generate the cert. After that, any vender you trust should work, verisign is very well known but I chose someone else.
I would suggest that you submit a ticket for cert installation as well. (you will need them to lease you a dedicated ip anyway so might as well get it all done through support.)
I don't know if they resell certificates here or not. If they do, they will prolly get you a good deal
